2025 SWNE Big Give Reaches Record Levels

The 2025 Southwest Nebraska Big Give is one for the record books.

For the first time in the event's 10 year history, the total surpassed the $400,000 mark with more than $410,000 in donations from individuals and organizations, including sponsorship funds.

Additionally, the number of donations passed the 1,000 mark with more than 1,200 individual donations given to the Big Give.

Bison Alumni Newsletter Subscriptions Available

The Bison Alumni Newsletter is published digitally two times a year, every spring and fall. But physically mailing the newsletters to every alumni stopped several years ago when it become logitically and cost prohibitive. But a new subscription program is available. 

For $20/year (two editions), you can have the BAN mailed to your house plus support the future of BAN.

Community Connection: Honoring the Strunk Legacy in McCook

Each week, MCFF highlights what is going on in our community, how to get involved or ways to show your support...and make McCook an even better place to call home. This week: Even though a person or even an entire family may move away, there is still a connection to your hometown. And no one exemplified that more than Allen Strunk, who died in November but continued to remember his hometown of McCook by recognizing outstanding teachers and supporting McCook organizations.
