Making McCook an Even Better Place to Call Home

Bison Alumni Newsletter Subscription Plan

As a sub-account of MCFF, we work closely with the Bison Alumni Newsletter. It is such an asset that MCFF pays for printed copies each spring and fall for around the community.

We are taking it a step further by helping with a subscription service for people to use. For a $20 donation each year, copies of both the spring and fall BAN will be mailed to you. You can even buy subscriptions for family and friends, so they can enjoy a paper copy of the newsletter too.
To subscribe, a donation (along with mailing info) may be mailed to BAN Subscription, C/O MCFF, Box 525, McCook NE 69001 or donating online below.

McCook Connects Bringing People Together

McCook Connects is a program developed by Community Hospital and MCFF to help connect newcomers and those visiting for a short time such as medical students with current residents who share a hobby or are of similar age.

The group also hosts events, such as a gathering during Third Thursdays.

The latest endevour is McCook Connects Coffee on the first Saturday each month. From 9-11 a.m. at Ember's Bakery, people gather over coffee and donuts. You can be new to town or lived in McCook for years, of any age or gender.

Plus there are goodie bags with resources available in the community.

Community Connection: Checking on Our Success Is Urgent

Each week, MCFF highlights what is going on in our community, how to get involved or ways to show your support...and make McCook an even better place to call home. This week: MCFF Treasurer and Community Hospital CFO Sean Wolfe shares why community projects are so important to stopping the population decline and hopefully leading to an increase in community members. And this isn't just a want, it is a need for our community to grow and thrive.
